Tours
The Original Hartstone Pottery Experience
You and your guests will find many hand-decorated stoneware products needed to start or complete your collection. Discover our 18,000 square foot Factory Store located at 1719 Dearborn Street in Zanesville, Ohio, filled with everything to decorate your home. We are only five minutes from I-70 and close to downtown Zanesville hotels and restaurants. We look forward to sharing our love of pottery with you! Buses welcome!
The Hartstone Pottery Experience Program includes:
- Personalized attention to your group that includes a production tour of our facilities. Enjoy the skill of our talented craftsmen and artisans as they produce hand-painted stoneware.
- Guests can paint their own piece of stoneware during their visit. This is an experience to remember for a lifetime and to share with generations to come!
- Your group will receive special Factory Store discounts that are not available to the general public.
- Reserve our Factory Store for your own “After Dinner Pottery Shopping Experience.”Many tourists in the Dresden/Zanesville, Ohio area are looking for evening events. We will host a private party with beverages and snacks as you, or your guests, shop at our Factory Store.
- We will provide coupons to be used as door/game prizes during your visit to Hartstone Pottery.
- Special gratuity gift for the bus driver and tour coordinator.
Group Tours are best scheduled in advance. All Hartstone Pottery tours and amenities are based on availability. We request that all children be accompanied by an adult.
Paint Your Own Pottery
Want to try your hand at an age old craft? Top off your visit to our Destination Store and Factory by painting your own pottery! Our new "Paint Your Own" room is open ... and perfect for tours, birthday parties, girls night out, field trips ... you name it!
Our decorators will work with you and your group, giving a brief lesson about how to paint and providing individual attention to our "newest" decorators, young and old. Call us to schedule today at (740) 452-9999 (x 101). Reserve now, space is first come first serve.
